У березні 1952 року Виконком Вінницької міської ради депутатів трудящих ухвалив рішення про передачу будинку по Літинському шосе №39 під організацію школи №26.
1952, 1 вересня
1 вересня 1952 року пролунав перший дзвінок для 345 учнів та 16 вчителів.
2022, 6 січня
Ліцею було присвоєно ім’я Героя України Дмитра Майбороди, який навчався у цьому закладі та у липні 2014 року загинув на сході України у зоні АТО.
